I wish I could go more in depth with my reviews, but alas, I can't so I'm just gonna do the thing I always do focus primarily on one or two things about this movie and heavily on the third.
The camera angles I mean, I know it's supposed to simulate something? Turbulence? A claustrophobic space? I don't know. But it wasn't done properly. I'm gonna keep it at that.
Joseph Gordon Levitt’s acting here is pretty goddamn good for the source material they gave him. I mean, they made a pretty decent movie out of a probably more dull idea.
The dude Venat? That was probably his name I mean, we could see he never wanted to be there from the beginning. but He had so many chances to do something, keep some of his dignity. Instead, he had that stupid ass ending the “realistic” one. I could clearly see how the director or creator or writer of this movie wanted us to feel bad for him in the end, but I physically can't. Not a shred of empathy. I mean, he killed a mother and what looked like a twink I can't stand for that. especially the twink part. And when his mother called him, that was the most predictable moment I've ever witnessed in a movie. Then again, at the end his mom calling, him not being able to answer ’cause he's dead I couldn’t feel any remorse whatsoever. It's just there for someone with a higher degree of empathy to maybe frown at or give a dissatisfied, sad look or something.
