An informative and extremely disturbing film about one of the most violent massacres in history that many have forgotten about. A very hard watch with some scenes that will truly make you feel sick. Not quite as disturbing or violent as Men Behind the Sun, but still highly impactful nonetheless. Unfortunately, a lot of the practical effects don’t hold up that well however some scenes such as a mass burning of bodies near the end are still impressive. Not a film I’d necessary recommend, however if you want to watch an informative telling of the Nanking Massacre, this is it.
