I went into this with zero context. The first hour, I really enjoyed what this movie told me visually, but I found it to be an average thriller at max. However, as more layers to the plot unraveled, this became easily one of the most interesting movies I've seen this year.

There’s definitely a lot of room for interpretation for this movie. It’s chaotic, multiple storylines surrounding the girls going on at once and it’s kinda hard to distinguish reality from fantasy/delusion. It also ends abruptly. The kind of movie you have to watch twice to analyse.
Braid is a very fit and quite literal name for the movie. It has three rigid strands, the way we have three girls, three parallel timelines (them as children, teenagers, older adults), three shifting povs that intertwine and knot

A weird and psychedelic film. It is evident that it was directed by a woman, and it works perfectly for the story it aims to convey. The ending can have multiple interpretations, and it will definitely drive you nuts while watching it. It contains quite a few amateurish mistakes (perhaps intentional), and overall, it is something completely different from anything you have seen before.
