Pffff... I don't know. I don't know if I should like it. The animation is beautiful, but the storytelling feels off. I don't know what it's goal was. Just making an animated biopic? Does it want to be a full-fleshed drama?
If it's supposed to be a biopic/documentary, why focus so much on explaining why Buñuel is a conflicted character and if it's supposed to be a drama, why make it so half-assed?
Maybe I'm not the most fitting person to judge, because I literally know nothing about Buñuel except that he worked on An andalusian dog and that he is a big figure in surrealism, but I just didn't vibe with it.
