"the lone december is falling down, running down on streets to nowhere"i love Yasmin Ahmad's films and how they convey the domestic intimacies in such a raw way. i love the subtle and loud messages of grief and love. she is unfiltered with how she portrays malaysian culture- the preconceptions that comes with going against the norm and how interracial relationships is perceived. Hafiz and Melurs story tugs my heart so much. Oh Mahesh. I love old malay cinema

Oh how I miss old Malay films :(( Yasmin Ahmad your legacy will forever live on! Special mention to Adibah Noor my all time fav childhood actor may her soul rest in peace. Such a heartfelt story with its own quirks and whims that explores romance, friendship and acceptance.
