7.2/10 pretty good. Man I just love the art of stop motion. Took a break from Laika Studios when I heard that Jordan Peele produced a stop motion. Jordan Peele is one of my favorite directors and I used to love Key and Peele. And I was even more excited when I heard Key and Peele are in this. Key and Peele play Wendell and Wild and they are easily the best thing in this film. Kat is the main character who is a girl that is trying to bring her parents back to life because she felt like their death was her fault. She basically makes a deal with the devil but in this case demons to bring them back. Things get out of hand fast when Wendell and Wild bring a bunch of people from the dead back to life to help the corrupt politicians of Klax Korp continue with their mission to ruin town. The music in this film honestly gave it some points because oh my lord the filmmakers got music taste. When I heard Cult Of Personality play by inner wrestling fandom kicked in and I just couldn’t stop singing it. I also loved the imitation of Donald Trump which was Lane Klaxon as it was honestly so funny and when he got arrested was the cherry on top. There are a decent bit of negatives here as the ending felt so rushed and this felt really clammed together. I mean this pacing was honestly really bad and the script could’ve been way better especially if Jordan Peele helped write this. I would give this film a watch but I’m not sure if I will be inclined to watch this again. If I do it will be sometime around Halloween. Pretty good movie just felt a little underwhelming because of the clumsiness of the writing and pacing.

I'm kicking off the month of spooks with Wendell & Wild, a film that's been on my watchlist for a while. I'm such a sucker for stop-motion, so I was automatically predestined to love it, and it ended up being really good. It's so awesome to see characters who aren't deathly pale but still perfectly fit the spooky and quirky style of animation (take notes Tim Burton), and I loved Kat's outfit and hair so much. The only thing I had an issue with was the plot; it felt like there were a bunch of different stories mashed together and towards the end it all felt a bit rushed and discordant. But the soundtrack was awesome, and the overall atmosphere was great. Key and Peele as Wendell and Wild respectively were so, so much fun, as was Ving Rhames as Buffalo Belzer. So on the whole, it's a charming film and a nicely spooky experience.

In my opinion this movie was lowkey mid. Not what I was expecting at all. 
Me and my friend think it had no storyline really, and was just ur average movie.

But then again we weren’t really paying attention, since we were very busy 😉

YEPPPPPPPP, I can’t believe it took me so long to watch this movie. So rich in every aspect, 27 year old me adores it but I wish 10 year old me could see it too! Should be way more beloved and talked about !
