The pacing is kinda overwhelming. It’s so slow that it doesn’t feel like you’re watching curated moments, instead you’re swallowed up in them. A lot of the landscape scenography is of big hills or the sprawling jungle, and even the shots in the city are all filmed from a bit too far away for comfort. The whole time I felt like a tiny creature watching everything unfold in real time. It’s pretty anxiety inducing. Everything on my laptop looked so big and I felt like I didn’t have enough time to take it all in, like I was gonna miss something. I feel like it was meant to be a bit more meditative but idk I did start having a panic attack near the end.
I did have one problem with the Hernan of it all but not sure
