I grew up on these films, and my musician mother made sure that I not only knew the names Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, but that I also was able to recognize their incredible achievements as a duo. One can only imagine what Howard would have achieved had he not passed so soon, but even as it stands he will be remembered for generations to come.
