fantastic doc. totally get why it was assigned as pre-semester homework because of how it lays out the way a criminal trial goes about and the immense amount of work that goes into the process of preparing on the front end that the general public just won't see or consider. makes sense, though, since my professor was the attorney from Making a Murderer, so he must have a flair for the artistic.
brenton (the 15 year old accused of murder here) is so startlingly young when you first see him, it almost brings you to tears. the arc of the moral universe is long but it bends toward justice. here's a forever toast to the good fight. acab.
