Beautiful. Calm. Romantic.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra absolutely kill it. The command over dialogue delivery, emotions and expressions from both is fantastic. Nawaz proves his versatility once again, and Sanya was a real surprise, even after some of her previous good performances. The supporting cast also does really well, and it was great to see some fantastic actors show up in cameos.
The story is so calmly romantic that every scene just feels like a breeze. No dull moments, nothing that pulls you out of it. A really great watch after a hectic Monday, the kind of film that soothes your mind without ever losing you.
Mumbai feels like Mumbai here, which is so refreshing. The Gateway of India, the Kaali-Peeli taxis, the local trains, Nawaz's house, all of it is authentic and organic. Really loved that.
The climax sums up everything you are thinking and conveys it simply in one line. Loved the ending so much that it left me wanting even more.
