I don't really like folklore horror but this one isn't that bad. The story was okay, it felt a little traditional in how they introduce the mythological beliefs of the indigenous people. I liked the creature design on the Wendigo, the practical effects were good. Maybe it's just me who has seen too many horror films but the ending felt way too predictable to me. The characters feel like every other dumb character in these horror movies. Some of the dialogue didn't make any sense at all. The final fight scene was anti-climactic, there wasn't much going on and I expected it to be longer. I wish there was more obstacles that happened in the middle of the film instead of primarily focusing on the mystery of the Wendigo and Lucas's life. Some of the jumpscares were okay, a couple of them genuinely scared me. The transformation scene was cool, it was creepy but looked a little bit over-dramatic. The explanation on how to kill the Wendigo didn't make any sense, tf you mean by "kill him at his weakened state" & "every time he feasts he gets weaker", does that mean the main character has to wait for it to kill more people so she can kill it easier, idfk. Antlers is a plain, slightly scary, interesting film that'll make you scared of going into the mines
