Flicker
I watched Paddington in Peru today while I’m sick, and honestly, I just needed something comforting — and it did the job.
I used to be a huge Paddington fan when I was younger, so I was really happy to come back to this world. Although… I was not prepared to see that Mary Brown is no longer played by Sally Hawkins. A small part of my childhood died right there (respectfully).
That said, the film is still really sweet and easy to watch. It’s not quite the same vibe as when I was younger — which is normal — but it’s still warm, gentle, and genuinely comforting.
Nothing groundbreaking, just… something that makes you feel a little better.
