I've actually seen a few films inspired by this one before I saw this - Haunt Season being one of them - but Haunt sits within a growing subgenre of "horror attractions gone wrong" movies, of which Hell House LLC is probably the current reigning champ, but there are others like Hell Fest and The House October Built (neither of which I've seen yet).
I liked how grisly this got, it's definitely got enough to keep gore-hounds happy. It's funny in places too, and the killers themselves have a great look to them. The ending was a bit tacked on, it tied things up a bit too nicely, which felt jarring after the mean-spiritedness of what came before it.
But ultimately this is a really fun trip through an extreme attraction! Some good set pieces that ratchet up the tension too.
