I genuinely liked this film. Did I think the main character was pretty stupid, yeah. Why is she following a random guy and his friend? Not even an hour into meeting him. No survival instincts there. When it got to the third act the instincts finally kicked in. 

This is the first movie I’ve watched of a haunted house attraction slasher. So it was all pretty new to me, I didn’t have anything to compare to it. 

I don’t get the point of giving her a tragic past. It didn’t serve any purpose to the story. I feel like it was mainly there to try add depth to a character. It wasn’t needed.

I think it’s a lot like heretic (same directors so I guess), Scott beck and Ryan woods are crazy at writing these kind of kidnapping stories. This movie is brutal at some scenes
