As with “Baby Cobra”, Ali Wong plays more on her brazenness than on properly constructed jokes, but that’s ok because at least she’s not shocking for shock’s sake. Her horror stories about motherhood are actually educational and relevant to her audience, as are her Asian American jokes, which she REALLY can explore further in the future because she is unusually talented at giving those jokes a fresh twist while making them accessible.
