leo's portrayal of sadness and loneliness was so raw and so good :') him returning to the streets constantly and being so desperate for any type of connection was so sad, and so was that scene of him only stealing the staple gun from the older man just so he could stitch his jacket sleeve back together 💔 he was so quiet and rarely had any long dialogue but the emotions on his face told everything he felt so beautifully. his unrequited love for ahd was so realistic and it was so sad watching him getting beaten up just because he genuinely wanted him. he was treated awfully by most people in this movie and it was actually so depressing. the whole movie was so quiet and so heavy and so good
