i think some of us watched a different movie. While the editing sometimes wasn’t what I liked, the acting, especially Julianne moore’s was superb! The flashbacks and flash forwards were done correctly and I never felt confused by them. The ending was sweet and the convention was the best scene in the whole movie. I was moved by the message and seeing the real Gloria.

I’m sorry but to anyone who has very low ratings for this movie ? What is wrong with you ? I know not everyone is gonna love or appreciate a movie I get that okay but seriously this movie was so good with such good casting like i’m sorry but whoever says Alicia can’t act ? I’m sorry but fuck off she won an Oscar so the queen can act period I’ve seen her couple of her stuff so yeah that movie with her husband so good yet so sad anyways this was good even the real Gloria Steinem is involved since obviously it’s about her story and journey so yeah I think this was a great film which should have got nominations at the oscars this year but didn’t which is just tragic.

while i do see the need and the concept, unfortunately the additional artistic out-of-narration elements and transitions weren’t as seamlessly integrated, and can catch people off guard a few times. the pacing was a bit bland, but the story and the message is there. might need a rewatch to fully appreciate it.
