The film seemed very claustrophobic to me at first, as almost every scene was shot close to the main character, Ayka.
However, this played an important role for me in empathizing with her role. The story touched me very much and you could adequately experience her inner conflict, which was perfectly acted out.
The ending feels very abrupt, but at the same time leaves a lot of questions unanswered, which doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing.
A very successful insider tip from Russia/Kazakhstan.
