This right here was fucking amazing!! I had such a good time with it, came across it randomly and so glad I did.
Ed Helms, John C. Reilly, Anne Heche, Isiah Whitlock Jr., and Sigourney Weaver all amazing! Especially Ed Helms and John C. Reilly. Ed being his usual “to the book” style character we see him in most movies where you had John C. Reilly being his crazy chaotic character we see in Step Brothers, this time just a little mature (I mean just about) to his Dale character.
The main humour comes from mainly the awkward innocence of Ed’s character based in a small town in America. He’s then sent off to try win an award for his insurance firm after the main guy who goes to the awards died during a sex accident of some sort, Tim’s phone call in the middle of the night to him, exposing what happened with “HE WAS HALF NAKED” was hilarious!
Tim eventually starts coming out of his shell and gets up to all sorts of antics, some fucking hilarious scenes that make it such a memorable comedy. My two favourite lines were part of the scavenger hunt “It’s a fucking word, Scrabble, you idiots!” and then John C. Reilly with the same guy in the wheelchair and asked did he wanted to be thrown in? Hilarious 😭
