Probably Richard Bates Jr's weakest film, every character is an obnoxious stereotype, and none of the humor seems to land quite as well as it does in his others, leading for a largely unpleasant viewing experience in all the wrong ways.

Incredibly stylish and well-acted. The messaging, for the most part, is handled surprising well. Almost exactly what it needs to be.
A few character moments take me out of the film, and the protagonist is more passive than I would’ve liked, but this is a film that makes me want to go back and check out the director’s other works.
