Easily the worst of the Annabelle films. Mckenna Grace gave a decent performance, and I love seeing Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as the Warrens, but my God did the rest of the characters piss me off, especially Daniela. There was just no spookiness at all, and the jumpscares were all pretty much useless. Unless you want to get through the entire Conjuring universe, it's not worth watching this.

annabelle : creation really gave me false hope for this one, but yeah it wasn’t good.

after watching 7 of these films, there’s actually only been 2 films which i actually like : the conjuring (2013) and annabelle : creation (2017) and i think the main reason is both of those films are entertaining with great characters, an interesting story and just generally a good script white being the two scariest films of the ones i’ve watched, i’ll give this one some credit and say that this isn’t the worst conjuring film, not by a long mark but it’s still eye numbingly boring just like the 2015 annabelle film. the pace is abnormally slow, the characters just felt either forgettable or just kinda annoying? also this just wasn’t interesting, with these films it just feels like the same thing over and over. like yes we get it annabelle is evil and she loves to cause a nuisance, but i really just don’t care. maybe my criticism is based on the fact i don’t love supernatural horror.. but i’ve came to the conclusion that this just isn’t good. ed and lorraine really carried this film despite being in like 5 minutes.
