It had everything going for it, but it didn't deliver.
First 30 minutes of the movie I was locked. The intriguing plot, digital media aspects, and of course the found footage film style, all had me immediately hooked.
The characters where pretty basic with the main character being very similar to Joe Keery in Spree, and while he was pretty decent the supporting cast just did not seem to be interested at all in the film. The characters also had there inconsistencies, Niki didn't even seem to exist most of the film which was odd.
It was shot fairly decent but wish they would of used the digital media aspects a bit more. I also think they got mixed up in so many different things that the plot got so off topic.
Overall, it didn't regret watching this at all. I would love to see them remake this on a bigger budget because I do think there is some gold underneath all the rubble.

pretty cheesy in some parts but it had its moments. the suspense was surprisingly good and the acting and story building were alot better than i expected.
some parts just fell flat for
me and they didn’t give enough tension to some of the scares. they would just happen without any build
up so not all of them got me good. overall caught me off guard. pretty decent for a first film.
