I actually enjoyed watching Meander. It was an interesting experience and something a bit different from the usual horror movies I watch.
I would probably rate it around 3/5. While it’s not a perfect movie, it still managed to keep me engaged most of the time. Throughout the film I mostly felt curious and stressed for the main character. Watching her struggle through all those traps made me tense because every new section felt dangerous and unpredictable.
One thing I really liked was the concept. I don’t think I’ve seen something quite like this before. A woman trapped inside a network of tubes with different traps felt original and creative (maybe there are films like this but I just never heard of them). It constantly made me wonder what the meaning behind everything was and why it was happening.
Yes, there are moments where you can feel the movie slowing down a little, but it never became boring for me. When you’re already invested in the situation, you barely notice those slower parts because you just want to see how she will survive the next obstacle.
I also appreciated Lisa's toughness. She went through a lot and still kept pushing forward. Honestly, if something like that happened to me, I would probably be traumatized for life. She handled it way better than most people would.
Some moments also made me think about different possibilities, like when I wondered what would have happened if Lisa and Adam had entered that pod together since it clearly looked big enough. And I definitely remember the scene where she comes out of that strange anus-like tunnel, which was… an experience to watch. It's like I felt something lol. Sorry for my gay ass hehe
Overall, I would recommend this movie, especially to people who enjoy survival or trap-style films where characters have to think quickly and endure extreme situations.
