When the prehistoric warm-water beast the Crocosaurus crosses paths with that cold-water monster the Mega Shark, all hell breaks loose in the oceans as the world's top scientists explore every option to halt the aquatic frenzy. Swallowing everything in their paths -- including a submarine or two -- Croc and Mega lead an explorer and an oceanographer on a wild chase. Eventually, the desperate men turn to a volcano for aid.

I finally watched this, so I can finally tell you about the time I got carded when I went to buy this movie.
Someone on the Blu-Ray forums had made a thread about Dollar General selling their films at a discount. Naturally, I wanted to see what the nearest one to me with films had. I checked three locations before I finally found one with stock. It was on the coastline in an expensive city. I peeked through, and while I don’t think I bought a whole ton - at least a season of Just Shoot Me! - I did come across the two-film set of Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus and 2-Headed Shark Attack. I take the Blu-Ray, I walk up to the checkout, and the Dollar General lady looks at it, looks at me and goes “I need to see some ID.”
I was stunned! I was like “for a movie called Mega Shark?!” and she nodded and simply said “I know.” I presented my ID to confirm my age of 24 and went home with my movies.
Anyway, what reviews are really about: the film. It’s alright. Jaleel White is in it, before he caved and decided to go back to the Urkel cash cow. Gary Stretch plays some Indiana Jones-type. The Doctor from Star Trek: Voyager plays a military official. The story makes some sense, so ideally this is a higher bar Asylum film; it’s just marred by low-quality CGI and the Asylum’s quick-filmmaking process. It’s passable, and that’s good enough for me.
