There's a lot of amazing stunts, bits, and physical comedy in The Blues Brothers. It's ridiculous and over the top and I love it.
Seeing all the iconic people that are here show up one after another like in an Avengers movie only added to the absurdity of this film. Like, they really had Ray Charles, James Brown, Steven Spielberg, and Carrie Fisher (at her peak of popularity with Star Wars) for a dumb comedy that apparently originated from a late-night tv skit.

Both of the brothers have great comedic chemistry. And their whole intro was awesome.
Although I'll say that the main theme of the music band wasn't my favorite. I just don't care for musicals in general, so I wasn't super interested in that.
But I enjoyed the huge amount of pure destruction. Countless police cars damaged, the random bazooka scene, an entire apartment crashing down, nazis dropping in a car from skyscraper height. All of these are perfect action stunts, and they fit my taste in movie humour.
Though my favorite is the finale. What seems like the entirety of Chicago's force (of any kind) hunts Jake and Elwood. And it's utter absurdist perfection.
