Bloodbath at the House of Death
“We must gather up all the faggots and burn them.”
“Hurry, grab the faggots!”

~ Vincent Price, Master of Horror.

This was wildly uneven but still a fun time. Spoofs aren’t really my thing cos some of the jokes are just straight up cringe, and unfortunately this film falls into that trap sometimes. The early jokes land but after that it oscillates between mildly amusing and “what are we even doing here, man?” Still, it was nice seeing Vincent Price be zesty as hell.

Amazing awful. They made so many references in this and the minute that nun pulled out a light saber it cemented my five star. Everything about the film was hilarious. This was my Clue.

“*Hurry, light the faggots!”
“I wish you’d stop saying that.”
“If the shoe fits, wear it.”*

I think death by a can opener is one of my new favourite kills in a horror movie.

For a British comedy movie from the 1980s, this was a lot more gory than I thought it would be
