The film was a really cool premise in terms of a realistic magic world. Definitely had some heaving “Wolf Among Us” vibes but unlike the game this film lacks characters and lacks immersive elements making me pretty bored in certain areas but the ending was great, very basic but great.

A real fun concept that maybe leans into the early 90s kitsch (and problematic tropes of the era) too much to be a real hidden gem. The whole things gives off FMV adventure, and honestly, it might have been more successful if it was a PC game series.

This is actually a very interesting idea, but I just don’t like it as an unserious comedy, if this was some gritty, dark noir/Lovecraftian thing it would have been better. It’s still a lot of fun but it’s just not what it could’ve been.
