Actually enjoyed this, subliminally a very depressing movie masked as a experimental crime comedy. This is one of his more laid-back introspective movies. The plot is pretty mediocre but used as a tool to tell a more personal story, about reinventing yourself.
The comedy is pretty good and surely not as self-indulgent as per usual, or doesn’t feel as narcissistic. The acting is pretty good, Julie Delpy is in it so there’s that! Feel like I wanna explore this movie another time, even if it’s a bit corny, stupidly loud and annoyingly experimental.
