Sufjan is my all time favourite artist. And I mean that so whole heartedly it’s insane. So so many of his songs mean a great deal to me and his album Carrie & Lowell in particular is crucial to literally just who I am as a person, especially for family and personal reasons that I’m not about to discuss in a letterboxd review 😭✌️. His music had so much significance in my life when I was 14, and then I eventually regrettably began to stop listening to him as often; but I’m so glad that his music is back In my life now 3 years later MORE THAN EVER!!!
