Besides a couple decent action sequences this movie fails at everything that makes the original story so amazing from completely ignoring and changing vital parts of the source material to cutting vital characters and such horrible miscasting (only one they got right was yuko) then when you take the source material out of the equation your left with a one dimensional poorly paced and scripted story with editing cuts between scenes that make everything feel so stupidly unconnected with no idea what’s actually happening unless you have read the original source material I don’t think you could actually understand a single thing happening throughout the plot of this movie this truly is in a sea of horrible adaptations just another drop in that ocean
