This was originally going to be rated 2 1/2 or 3 starts at best, but OH my GOD that ending was PHENOMENAL.
Genuinely one of the best endings I’ve ever seen to a movie, from the point where Sarah took the gun out to the end of the movie, my jaw was FULLY dropped,
I was under the full assumption that it was going to be an average ending where Miles gets all better again and they all live as a happy family, but I literally cannot be happier with how it turned out. The amount of twists kept me on edge in a way that wasn’t overwhelming or obnoxious, and the unexpected death of Sarah and the fact that Miles had fully lost control of his body got me even more.
Overall, I love movies with endings where the antagonist wins, and it ca make even the most mid of movies satisfying,
There’s SO much open potential to a sequel though. The idea of a murderer using the appearance of a young boy to manipulate others would definitely be a movie I would like to watch
