Charlie Chaplin once again doesn’t disappoint. I absolutely loved this movie. It’s not the usual slapstick we’re used to from Charlie, and I absolutely loved It. This movie had some hilarious sequences and great dynamics. The way that Charlie managed to turn such dark events, that occurred the 4 years before this movie, into something so funny. I just imagine how after the war, soldiers would find comfort in watching this movie, and that gives such a chilling thought. The only thing holding me back from giving this a 5/5 is the fact that I found it repetitive at times, near the end especially. But that doesn’t take away that this movie is simply amazing and heavily underrated. I absolutely recommend this to everyone!’
