To be fair, this film actually builds from the original and isn’t a cash grab. Yes, it doesn’t make sense that he gets run over and is then seen driving away with 3 kidnapped blondes in Mexico.
The sub-plot involving the legacy characters wasn’t too bad. The part of of the film that was the biggest swing was that nobody really dies (low kill count) and that moral quandry where he isn’t willing to kidnap and sell off one of his victims. Had me wondering right through the credits.
