There’s so much I loved about this movie, but the few things I didn’t really dragged it down. I loved the story itself, the acting, the cinematography and the undying love between the two characters. I hated the fucking octopus. That was an incredibly unnecessary choice from the director and you can’t convince me that actually happened in the real events. I’m pretty sure whoever passed on this story wasn’t like, “oh yeah and they had sex with a side of octopus, you really gotta add that to the movie.”
I did really like how it tied together in the end, and how they ended up happily together, even reuniting with their daughter.
A good watch and a touching story.
