I just couldn’t find myself getting into the film. I don’t think they touched on Brian’s full struggles in prison as much as they maybe should have. I also think the fact he didn’t get signed to any team at the end didn’t make it much of a story to tell.

Un film qui résume assez bien la situation juridique américaine déplorable à travers l’histoire vrai d’un sportif. Même si certaines scènes sont vraiment romancées, la mise en scène tient la route et livre une histoire intéressante. Ce film nous montre aussi l’importance du sport et l’importance d’avoir un objectif dans la vie. 

Bref : un film émouvant avec une belle mise en scène et une histoire vraie qui forge le respect même si certaines scènes sont trop romancées, ce qui est dommage.

It’s always good to hear real life inspiring stories like these. Getting into the NFL alone is hard and even with all that Brian Banks went through, and it’s resolution, it was sweet to see that he played for the Falcons. Good stuff.

Surprisingly not a sequel to Agent Cody Banks (??) but it is very nice and middle of the road and I love Aldis Hodge and Greg Kinnear and courtrooms so sure
