All because he didn’t want to have a baby

A solid drama that is beautiful looking. Never seen Wagner in anything and this being the first thing is kind of ironic. 

I didn’t expect anything from this movie, so it surprised me how easily engaging it was to watch. Also didn’t expect Ellen to be the hero all the way through, for the time period I expected misogyny to be strong in this movie. This movie mixes class, gender and dread together really well! It also has a good flow for most of its run time (had a bit of a weird off point when introducing a whole new guy) but it’s not a bad movie. I found bud to be a very clear weirdo acted well by Wagner in being soulless. His proclamations of love disgusting in a way I think many who experienced this type of man delivered believably. Enough effort to be believable to the receiver but laying on so thick as the audience member you roll your eyes a classic manipulator.

I liked it! I wasn’t expecting out of the movie and it did well for me. Gorgeous women’s costumes, the shape on the clothes in this movie, the makeup and hair wow they looked good!

A diabolical suspense with a protagonist that wouldn’t feel out of place having dinner at Dorsia, A Kiss Before Dying is fun, full of twists and turns and I couldn’t help imagining it as a play, and that’s a way of knowing it’s good. Had to knock off half a start just for how naïve Dorothy is, but overall, a great story.
