A story about fame, love, the downfall and loneliness of a famous director, Suresh. The cinematography is beautiful and definitely ahead of it's time. Some of the shots are so beautiful framed and composed, my favourite one comes 30 mins into the film as Suresh sitting on his directors chair faces Shanti who is standing and as we pull out a beam of light (spotlight) conjures behind them. So beautiful. The story dips in the middle section and the songs are forgettable but it is saved by a great and emotional ending.
