throw me off of the Cliff if I deny that this is one of the greatest films of gurudutt all himself something that is very peculiar to what I imagine him of the well known theory of this movie being his life reflection is well portrait and something that makes me feel like and id say this " shanti se reh lete mehraru ne pramila cheen li "

Kicking myself for not having watched it on a bigger screen than my iPhone.
Exhibits the power of what cinema can do. A compelling narrative driven by great characters and gorgeous visuals. Even the musical element is neither bothersome or forgettable. A film made with heart (no doubt that managed to capture mine) but isn't afraid to get real and painfully honest. Masterpiece. Watch immediately.
