A pretty fun and entertaining ritual horror film. Premise is pretty basic, and the execution is quite good. Rebecca Romijn does a strong performance, but her character seems to kinda go in circles and doesn't lead anywhere overly fulfilling. In fact a few parts of the film feels a little repetitive here a d there.
The campy direction is a lot of fun and does a lot of heavy lifting for the film, and isn't anything too new from modern campy horror.
Production design was great, with some great practical effects and makeup.
One thing that must be talked about however is the choice to use the default Premier Pro font in the credits for everything that isnt someones name. I noticed, it took me out, the other fonts are free, do better.
TLDR; a pretty basic camp horror entry, but there isn't anything wrong with vanilla
