Waittt, this was so me when I woke up from a dream where I was with Diego Luna. Anyway, this was surprisingly really good. I’m so glad that Diego Luna was in this because I probably wouldn’t have watched it if that weren’t the case. Me when I “judge a book by its cover” and it proves me wrong for the 1000th time: 🤯
Also, I recently checked my stats to see who my most watched actors were for this year and I noticed that Diego Luna surprisingly wasn’t even in my top 10. I said, “Oh yeah? Watch this”, then I immediately watched three more of his movies in one day—which now puts him in my top 3.

2020 Ranked: boxd.it/4vhTm
I will preface this by saying I got distracted more than once and definitely wasn't able to be completely invested the whole time, but there was just something about this that wouldn't click with me. It did have some strong points, mainly the editing was super well done and a lot of the transitions were cool (though people keep comparing it to Eternal Sunshine which makes sense but nothing here really does anything as well as Eternal Sunshine does), but overall I was just sort of disappointed with the film. Maybe if I get to get a second watch I'll enjoy it more, but for now I think it just needed a little something more.
