For months my friend Carter has told me to watch The Face of Another by Hiroshi Teshigahara. Now while this is NOT the film he recommended, it is the debut feature film of Teshigahara. Now, while i enjoyed the theme, i thought it fell flat of what it could have been, and it appears a lot of my fellow letterboxd users feel the same. Still a lot to love about this film, just felt like it sold itself short of a masterpiece.
