I truly did enjoy this documentary and learned oh so much. it is pretty devastating to see just how cruel gender bias is in almost every light. stupid gender is just simply a society made concept and the fact that so many wonderful talented womens works never got to see the light of day is so disappointing. i also learned that even children tv shows have statistically more amount of male characters. i cant unsee it now so representation matters.
AT FIRST was pretty devastated to see this was directed by a man as the movie consistantly brings up the lack of oppurtunity for women directors the way the system is set up. but i know in order to bring light to issues as this we need help, awareness, and the voices of men. so glad he was interested in spreading this message
