I had this movie on my watchlist for quite a long time, and I finally decided to watch it mainly because RSL was in it. Now that I’ve seen it, I'm not really sure what to think about. I honestly really like old low budget movies, even though you can notice a few small editing mistakes here and there. From a cinematic point of view, they didn’t bother me too much, cause sometimes you don’t even notice slightly awkward cuts unless you’re really looking for them, so whatever. Where I feel more uncertain is the acting. I can’t really decide whether it’s genuinely good or if something feels a bit off. In particular, I’m not sure how to interpret the portrayal of the characters with disabilities. I find it hard to tell whether the performances are accurate and respectful or if they lean a bit into stereotypes. It left me a bit unsure about how I should feel overall. Probably it's just how I see it since I'm not an expert, I’m still figuring out my final opinion on it. It really left me with some questions. I liked the dynamic of RSL's character, but since in the end he was left alone in the mental hospital (?) is he going to be alone, since his other friends left, and since Jack won't be around them or him anymore? Idk what to think, I still finished it because I don’t like leaving movies halfway and I wanted to see how it would end.
