The first half is far more interesting as rich context for the ‘60s New York avant-garde scene as a whole – especially the Warhol connection. Glosses over a lot and speeds up very quickly post-breakup though I guess that’s fair since this is essentially all archival footage and talking heads with some people not around anymore. Edited extremely well, brilliantly fits the essence of the band. Richman’s enthusiasm is infectious.
