A perspective widener for sure. I saw another review that said they appreciated Tigertail more than they liked it, which I agree with. I liked the parts where he reflected on his past, but then it went to the present where he struggled to communicate with his daughter. It was hard for me to relate. The daughter’s performance was almost distracting, like her emotions felt forced. I don’t know, I couldn’t do better.
But all in all I’m grateful I watched it. Oh and I forgot to mention, the score/soundtrack was great and carried the dull scenes.
