This Christmas special just warms my heart. To me, it shows that Santa Claus isn’t just an entity that delivers presents on Christmas Eve. Santa Claus is a spirit that lives within the kindheartedness of all people. Santa Claus lived within Virginia and Ollie when they gave Scraggly Santa a new coat. He lived within Scraggly Santa when he gives his only coat to an infant in need. And Santa lives within Francis Church when he published his response to Virginia’s letter to keep the spirit alive. I’m a true believer in “Christmas is a frame of mind,” and this special, no matter how short and cheesy it may be, solidifies it.
