I could talk about abortions forever and still never say enough. This project is brutal and prophetic. Released almost 4 years before Dobbs v Jackson and yet details the fall of Roe v Wade comprehensively. I would recommend the Roe v Wade episodes of the podcast ‘5-4’ where I learnt much of what was discussed in this doco.
The anti-choice guy is very honest about how Texas legislation uses compulsory sonograms as a “tool” to guilt and emotionally terrorise women into reconsidering an abortion. All the anti-choice advocates are horrifically transparent in their mission to strip women of their autonomy, I'm astounded they agreed to take part in this project. The documentary does a great job, allowing these people to spin out into lunacy without forcing their hand. It's only 4 stars because I personally didn't learn anything new, but this would be incredibly illuminating for someone less versed in the history of abortion rights.

Documentario ben fatto sulla storia dell’aborto in America. Un po’ di parte (pro choice), ma comunque informativo. Consiglio di guardarlo soprattutto visto gli ultimi sviluppi della questione.

it is CRAZY how much people actually think pro life will overturn pro choice? im APPALLED by all the fucking men choosing rights FOR WOMEN??? its so frustrating. just hearing (mostly men) talk so strongly on saving the ‘unborn child’ than caring at ALL for the woman like hello??!

If Evangelicals knew how selling their witness and soul to the Republican party would turn away from the faith and be hurt and betrayed by their American fervor.... at this point I think they would say “it was worth it to save babies” and that’s why I’ve left. Gross and sick.
