Woman on the Beach
this whole thing felt like a walk on the beach. this is my first hong film so i don’t know if all his films are like this; but there were a bunch of weird loose ends in the script. like why did the owners just abandon the dog? and what happened to chang-wook? nevertheless, this a gorgeous looking film with immaculate vibes. though the constant zooms were kind of throwing me off.

there are a lot of things to take away from this film; like the toxicity of the male ego, never meet your heroes, victims of toxicity will be there for each other, etc. but i feel like the main thing i got from this was that a man will use anything, even the manipulation of others, to reach their success.
