When this film started, and this was down to music choice alone, I thought to myself "I'm probably not going to like this". I know that's way too early to judge but when I get a feeling like that even early on it's usually pretty accurate.
I thought it dragged on and felt longer than the 2 hours it runs for, the story to me just became convoluted and hard to follow and in general I just sort of lost interesr at points resulting in occasional boredom. It's not awful, compared to the other comic book film I saw this year, Bloodshot and it is definitely an improvement but I was expecting something more akin to The Boys. Maybe I've just become tired of the genre since Endgame wrapped up. It has some good moments of action and the effects, especially the healing process of the characters, are for the most part good but I can't say it really did anything at all for me. It's just extremely average which I annoys me more than something being outright bad.
If anything it reminded me of why I don't really tend to watch Netflix originals unless they are by a director I actually like, because I clearly already know that they aren't for me.
