That one scene.my soul just left my body 💔

such an odd little film, almost eerie in the right ways, but also kinda awkward. the lady goes a bit overboard as Dora, which makes the whole possession/trauma vibe feel uneven. the kid acting possessed is unsettling, though the creep factor is a little unintentionally funny at times. the twist toward the end actually got me, but the story drags and the pacing is off. could’ve been way creepier, but it’s fine for a 70s film i suppose.

paranormal or paranoia?

my last experience with bava the score was laughably bad, but i loved it here. much more appropriate, equally ominous and dreamy.

very stylized (again, unlike the last one) so i didn’t think i would like it. but come the conclusion everything came full circle and there was a good deal of substance :)
