I’ve wanted to watch this for a long time cause the concept seemed really awesome.

The coolest concept ever with the most mediocre execution. This should have been more like the Rick and Morty episode. Like genuinely adding new characters to the group and removing old ones silently. Leaning heavier into everything entirely. It barely used it.

And all it did when it got you was to make you kill yourself which can be cool. But I don’t think it was here. The ending was just, whatever. 

I hate a movie that takes so long to get into it. You can set this up and build your shit and still get to the stuff. Took way too long for the movie to actually start doing stuff and when it did it was sometimes cool and other times not cool. 

I will say the cinematography was really decent at some points and other points not. 

If you have a low budget then don’t try to show a monster, cause it’s not gonna look good. 

I really couldn’t see a reason why the main character would stay with them, especially with Max being such an asshole. 

What I find really ironic is I was getting Déjà vu while watching it so maybe the movie has an effect on the viewer…

Neat concept for a movie and I remember reading some decent stories about it. Wish it wasn't tied to a teenage horror drama. The possibilities were endless but I hated how it resolved around college drama and drinking to make the mystery remotely work.

Maybe I’m not the best judge of this movie cuz I was going through my clothes watching it, but it’s kinda just a worse, more supernatural version of It’s What’s Inside (granted it came out later). It lacks a lot of fun, energy, and amped toxicity needed for a movie with this big of a friend group to thrive. There’s also a few too many characters for this to work in my opinion. We hardly get to know any of them. The reflection house plot twist situation was good though and it played well.
