i cannot believe i just watched patrick dempsey go from having an emotional conversation with a sex doll to immediately being assaulted by a biker named slash to then getting caught cheating on his finals

but why did i love this and why was it so cute

“Aren’t I the best mistake you ever made?”

Patrick Dempsey plays an uptight man who doesn’t sing (but will later), and judges his future love interest for claiming to love a guy she doesn’t know. It’s clear he only did this so he would be prepared for the role of Robert Philip in the hit Disney™️ film Enchanted (2007) dir. by Kevin Lima.

sidenote, this is, like, the fifth??? movie I’ve seen where someone either thinks he’s gay, and/or he pretends to be gay. again I must ask, when is he going to star in a gay romcom?? please, Patrick, for me…
